British School of Bahrain’s Sports Day success

Manama : The British School of Bahrain’s Key Stage 1 students held their annual Sports Day.  Year 1 and Year 2 children excitedly marched down to the Batelco field for a day of fun. The children all ran their races with great determination and enthusiasm. They demonstrated excellent team spirit and the behaviour of the children was, as usual, fantastic. It is so lovely to see our core values in action at such an event.

‘There was an emphasis on team work for our five and six year olds as they completed an innovative range of races and assault courses. The parent races definitely had more of a competitive edge, with a record number of mums and dads keen to go for gold!, ’  said  Julie Anne Gilbert, Head of School.

‘We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who cheered the children on from the sidelines and to all the parents who helped on a race; it was very much appreciated,’ said Feriha Gauntlett, Head of Infants.
