Complaints investigated
Manama : Advocate General Mamdouh Al Moawdeh the Chief Prosecutor for Ministries and Directorates said the Public Prosecution has completed its investigations into two complaints lodged by the Consumer Protection Directorate (CPD). Two consumer price complaints were lodged by the CPD against a few outlets which sold goods at their point-of-sale at prices higher than in the price tags. The prosecution heard the testimony of several witnesses, viewed the documents, retaining the electronic systems and ordered the lifting of the previously-ordered custody of the said branches.
