Arab women panel meetings
Manama : Bahrain will host the meetings of the 36th session of the Arab Women Committee at the Arab League, in the presence of the Arab League Secretary-General, on February 6-7. The meetings will be held under the auspices of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). The Kingdom will also chair the preparatory meeting of the 61st session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW61) at the regional level.
The 36th session of the Arab Women Committee will discuss issues of women empowerment and advancement at the Arab level.
