Color My Painting with Salt

Time : 4:00pm

Following Food Is Culture event, Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities organizes a special children’s workshop titled “ Color My Painting with Salt ” On Saturday 4 February at 4-6 pm at the Art Centre.  Children from 6-10 years old can enjoy drawing on white canvas using glue, and then sprinkle it with salt and color it, and watch how the colors will spread out in an amazing way!

Taste Tour

Date: Till 18 Feb 2017

Time: Based on each restaurant’s operating hours

The ‘Taste Tour’ will return this year and will include a total of 29 participating restaurants. Participants will be able to sample dishes and vote for their favorite restaurants. They will also have the opportunity to win An Infinity Q50 car from YK Almoayyed & Sons as part of a ‘The Taste Tour’ raffle draw.

Food is Culture

Date: Ongoing till February 19 

Venue: Bahrain National Museum 

Following a successful first edition last year, Food is Culture returns as a two month collaboration between artists, chefs, ‘foodies’ and experts discussing, creating and showcasing the link between Food, Art and Culture.

Join us   at the Bahrain National Museum where 5 artists and 6 chefs from Bahrain have paired not only share their creative process but produce one of a kind creations of food and art to savour with the audience!

Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition 43

The Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition, in its 43rd edition, celebrates the creativity and ingenuity of the local artists. Every year, the art community gathers to present their finest work, uninhibited by a subject or theme. The result is a colorful display of styles, techniques, through different mediums of expression.
