Bahraini killed in accident at Muharraq Governorate
Manama : Ali Nasser, a Bahraini was killed in a traffic accident that occurred in Muharraq Governorate at dawn yesterday.
Interior Ministry confirmed the death in a tweet posted at 2:30 am.
The ministry said that the man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle on the Dry Dock Highway near Galali. It added that necessary steps were taken by the concerned authorities.
Sources informed that the mishap occurred when a driver hit the motorcycle on the busy highway, en-route to Diyar Al Muharraq area.
They told that the victim is said to be in his mid-twenties, and that his body was laid to rest yesterday evening in Galali graveyard.
This is the second fatal motorcycle accident recently involving a Bahraini. Another citizen was killed in a similar accident in Isa Town last December.
