Bahrain shoot down 10 medals

Manama : Bahrain’s national shooting team picked up 10 medals including 4 gold, 4 silver and two bronze amidst stiff competition at the recently-concluded 13th Arab Championship in Kuwait and held at the Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex.

Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee general secretary Abdulrahman Askar, along

with top-ranking sports officials, welcomed the team on return.

Askar conveyed greetings and congratulations from His Majesty the King Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council

for Youth and Sports chairman and BOC president HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to members of the team.

BOC board member and Women’s Sport Committee chairwoman Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa expressed her pride with the outstanding results achieved by the team members.

Bahrain Shooting Association president Shaikh Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa said he was proud at the achievement and high scale of performance.

Shaikh Salman said that they will look to keep progressing and developing their players to achieve even better results in the future.
