StanChart funding gives fillip to CPISP
Manama : In a move further enhancing its support to the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP), Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain yesterday presented the final instalment of its BD50,000 donation to the programme.
Dr Boutros Klink, Chief Executive Officer of StanChart Bahrain and the GCC presented a cheque of BD30,000 to Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of CPISP.
Shaikh Mohammed extended his appreciation to the bank for its generous contribution, and for supporting the CPISP in its mission to develop the capabilities of Bahraini students.
Dr Klink praised the efforts of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister in supporting Bahraini youth.
Also in attendance from Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain were Noora Al Nusuf, Head of Corporate Affairs and Brand and Marketing. In attendance from CPISP were Shatha Ahmed Ali, Head of HR, Administrative, Financial, and Student Affairs.
