Students warned against misconduct
Manama : Public school students, who misbehave within the school campus, during field trips, activities organised by the ministry or the school, and in school buses, may be
deprived of free transportation services for the entire school year.
The decision comes in a new set of students discipline guidelines recently issued by educational authorities in the Kingdom. The list, applicable to public and private schools alike, included new violations by students and penalties.
The amendments also added that students’ suspension would only come into effect if approved by the concerned departments in the ministry.
It was mentioned in Decision 99 of 2017 of Minister of Education Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi to issue the students discipline guidelines to all public and private schools.
The decision was published in the Official Gazzette on February 9 and is the first amended list to be announced since 2010.
The Education ministry provides free transportation service to all public schools students in Kingdom.
