Search for missing Bahraini man intensified
Manama : Search for a lost Bahraini citizen in Turkey has been intensified by the concerned authorities, as instructed by the Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The 29-year-old man, who was reportedly missing in “mysterious circumstances” for almost two weeks, works in the field of tourism and frequently flies abroad with tourists.
Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement issued yesterday, “The ministry confirms that it is undertaking intensified efforts to find a Bahraini citizen who went missing in Turkey for several days.”
“The ministry also directed the Kingdom’s embassy in Turkey to investigate the incident and to contact all concerned parties and coordinate with Turkish authorities to stay up to date with the latest developments,” the statement read, adding that it is in constant contact with the father of the missing citizen and that he is being constantly updated.
