Court to hear overcharge cases on March 9
Manama : The Public Prosecution has completed its investigations into the cases of two commercial outlets which committed consumer price violations, according to Chief Prosecutor of Ministries and Public Directorates, Advocate General Mamdooh Al Moawda.
A complaint had been lodged by the Consumer Protection Directorate following the seizure of various goods sold above the affixed price tag.
The Prosecution referred five suspects in the first case and eight suspects in the second case to the High Criminal Court which will consider both cases on March 9.
The suspects are management officials at both commercial outlets.
