Indian expat dies in Bahrain
Manama: An Indian expatriate worker died of heart attack in Bahrain today.
Cheruvathur Kunjumon Shinoy (45) died of heart attack early this morning.
He was tailor at a shop in Malkiya a coastal area in the west of Bahrain.
He is survived by his wife Sandhya Shinoy and a 3-year-old child who arein India.
Shinoy who has been working in Bahrain for the past 20 years had come back to Bahrain on February 7 after a two-month vacation in his hometown Chiyyaram in the Thrissur district of the Indian state of Kerala.
‘Today at around 4.20am he told his roommates he was not feeling well,’ a colleague told DT News, adding ‘Immediately we called the ambulance and they tried to save his life for some time but he was pronounced dead on the spot.’ Shinoy’s body is kept in Salmaniya Medical Complex(SMC) morgue.
His brother Shibu is working in Manama.
