‘Productive Families’ award on March 2
Manama : The Labour and Social Development Ministry will organise a ceremony at the Sharifa Al-Awadhi Children and Youth Club in Riffa on March 2 to announce the winners of HRH Princess Sabeeka’s Award for Productive Families. The event will be held under the patronage of Wife of His Majesty the King & Supreme Council for Women ChairwomanHRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
A total of 180 participants from Bahrain will vie for the award, in addition to 12 other contenders from the GCC and Arab countries. The Arab countries will also take part in an exhibition held on the sidelines of the ceremony.
Minister of Labour & Social Development Jameel Humaidan underscored the importance of the award which aims at encouraging and motivating low-income families to secure an extra source of income.
