New Millennium School register victory

Manama : New Millennium School defeated Ibn Al Hytham School in the Cricket Bahrain Association (CBA) Junior Cricket League Inter Schools Under-12 Boys Tournament at the Junior Cricket Ground near Khalifa Sports City.

Batting first, Ibn Al Hytham Islamic School were dismissed for 99 with the main scorer being Sayuj (33) and Jaysnav (three for 12) and Nikung (two for 25) being the best bowlers.

In reply, Millennium School reached the target scoring 100 for three in 15 overs thanks to unbeaten knocks by Nikung (24) and Aaryan (22) with Ahmed (two for 24) the best of the bowlers.

The Indian School beat Kids and Teens by 35 runs after notching up 115 for six in 20 overs with the main scorers being Aravind Rajeev (51) and Anand Krishnan (23), while Kids and Teens were dismissed for just 80 with Nikhil (12) and Krish 11) offering the only resistance as Aravind (four for 14) and Ayush (three for seven) ripped through the batting.

Combined School 130 in 20 (Rishabh 50, Yasahas 40, Azhar 2 wkts) bt Ibn Al Hytham 89 (Abdullah 30, Movas 3 wkts, Abhinav and Rishabh 2 wkts) by 41 runs. Kids and Teens Kids and Teens 142/7 in 20 (Uzair 36, Aaron 22, Seshang 3/30) tied with New Millennium School 142/4 in 20 overs (Ethan 56, Ansh 33, Jaqishnav 26, (Uzair 2/27).
