Works Ministry bags first prize in Bahrain Garden Show 2017
Manama : The Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry has won the first prize of Bahrain International Garden Show patronized by Wife of His Majesty the King, Supreme Council for Women Chairwoman and Chairperson of the Advisory Board of the National Initiative for the Development of the Agricultural Sector HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
The ministry’s pavilion was voted as the ‘best government awareness one’ by the jury.
Works Minister Essam Abdullah Khalaf highlighted Princess Sabeeka’s efforts in promoting the agricultural sector and pointed out the ministry’s commitment to implement a number of agricultural projects and increasing green spaces, in cooperation with the municipalities. He noted the ministry’s strategy to build national capacities in agricultural development and support small farmers.
