UAE Foreign Minister condemns terror crime in Bahrain
Manama : The UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan condemned the terror crime which targeted Bahrain’s stability and security today. He stressed that this terrorism which is backed by foreign parties and which targets Bahrain’s people and institutions is part and parcel of the danger of extremism and terrorism in the world.
In a statement posted by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), he stressed that anyone who thinks that the forces of evil will triumph over the forces of good and co-existence in Bahrain is wrong. He also reiterated the UAE’s unflinching support to Bahrain in its war on terror which aims to shake the kingdom’s security, stability and development. He affirmed that the criminal plots will be doomed to failure thanks to the will and cohesion of the Bahraini people as well as their patriotism and allegiance to the leadership. He asserted that Bahrain’s security is an integral part of the security of the GCC countries, pointing out that concerted efforts will deter terrorism and its evil intents.
