KHCB sponsors Robot Championship
Manama : Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), has announced its sponsorship of the 3rd VEX Bahrain Robot Championship, which will be held in the Kingdom on the 26th and 27th of February 2017.
The event will witness the participation of 90 teams of various age groups from primary school up to university competing to win and qualify for the honour of representing the Kingdom in the VEX World Championship in the state of Kentucky, America.
Over 800 students from 30 government and private institutions are set to participate in this edition. This championship, which is the largest of its kind in Bahrain, aims to develop the participants’ skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics through bringing together teams of youths from across the Kingdom and testing their creativity and ability to solve problems and challenges.
