BCL cricket: Tiger pip star

Manama : Bassali Focus Tiger defeated Riffa Star by 31 runs in the latest matches of the BCL 25 Overs Diamond League at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Bassali scored 155 for nine in 25 overs with Omer Farooq (67) top scoring with Bilal (24) giving good support, with Sultan (four for 27) and Imtiaz (three for 34) the best of the bowlers.

In reply, Riffa Star were dismissed for 124 with the main scorers being Niazi (38) and Umer (38) with Salman (three for 13) and Bilal (three for 31) the pick of the bowlers.

LuLu in another match scored 193 for eight in 25 overs to beat Kooheji Contractor by 112 runs with Suneer (54) and Pradeep (45) top scoring with Bhupender (two for 37) the best of the bowlers, in reply Kooheji

Contractor were  bowled out for 81 with the only resistance from Suhail (22) with Anoop (three for 15) and Abin (two for 14) the best of the bowlers.
