Boosting economic growth

Manama : The second Bahraini- Pakistani Investment Opportunities Conference will be held on March 30 in Islamabad, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) revealed at a press conference yesterday. 

The conference was attended by BCCI Chairman  Khalid Al Moayed, the Pakistani ambassador of Bahrain  Javed Malik, BCCI vice-treasurer Mohamed Sajid, head of the Bahraini side of the Bahraini-Pakistani Joint Business Council Mohammed Othman, alongside BCCI board member  Ahlam Janahi, CEO Dr. Khalid Al Ruwaihi and members of the joint business council.

 “These kinds of conference not only helps to improve the business of the nation, but also helps in strengthening the relationship of the two countries,” Khalid Al Moayed said, while thanking the Pakistani ambassador for the continuous support.

Javed Malik discussed about the necessity of continuous dialogue and the need of such conferences that would strengthen the realtions between both the nations. 

“Our aim is not only economic development between the two nations but also to create a platform through which this conference could act as a gateway to the rest of the GCC countries. I urge members of the business community in Bahrain and the GCC to attend the conference in Pakistan and seize the invaluable investment and networking opportunity.” 

It was also stated that Bahraini Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism H.E. Zayid Al Zayani and his Pakistani counterpart will participate in the conference

 “Asia is flourishing with great potential and we would like to take this opportunity to unite the Asian countries and create a gateway for the rest of the gulf countries,” Mohamed Sajid added.
