Renew your CR or Visas will be cancelled
Manama: The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has clarified that if the Commercial Registration (CR) of establishments are not renewed in time the CR will be deleted by law. This means that the visas under the establishments will be cancelled by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority(LMRA) two months after the CR became deleted by law. The CR which has been deleted by law, can be revived through the commercial Registration Portal "Sijilat". A source in the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism told DT News that in general the following breakdown should be taken in consideration: · 50 BD for renewal + other entity fees ( if any) · 50 BD for reviving CR deleted by law · 10 BD fine for each month or part of the month in the first year · 20 BD fine for each month or part of the month in the second year · 30 BD fine for each month or part of the month in the third year After the third year the CR which is deleted by law will not be revived.
