HM King, UN Secretary-General hold talks
Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday received UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the 28th Arab Summit.
The meeting held at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre discussed ways to promote cooperation between the Bahrain and the UN as well as benefiting from the UN expertise in various fields. HM stressed Bahrain’s keenness on boosting cooperation with the UN to attain progress, development and prosperity. He noted the outstanding achievements made by the Kingdom at all levels.
HM the King commended the UN Secretary General’s efforts in strengthening the international security, stability and peace and in achieving the UN’s comprehensive objectives.
