BisB names new AGM, IT
Manama : Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), one of Bahrain’s leading Islamic banks, recently announced that Osama Ali Nasr has been promoted to AGM, Head of Information Technology (IT).
Prior to joining Bahrain Islamic Bank in 2007 as Head of Applications Services in Information Technology Department, Osama has held various key positions in a number of specialised companies in the information technology services in-outside of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Osama Nasr holds a Master’s degree in Information Management System from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
Commenting on the move, the CEO of BisB Hassan Amin Jarrar, “Mr. Osama promotion is part of our ongoing efforts aimed at the developing the capabilities of our employees and prepare them for leadership positions that is in line with the bank’s strategy.”
Osama Nasr will develop the Information Technology Department to cope with the requirements of the digitization processes of the bank and to leverage technology to support business to achieve the desired objectives.
