Inter Hotel cricket: Ritz-Carlton (A) win

Manama : The Ritz-Carlton (A) defeated Intercontinental Regency (A) by two wickets in the last of the round-robin matches in The Ritz Carlton Bahrain Sixth Inter Hotel Charity Cricket Tournament 2017 at the Ritz-Carlton Staff Recreation area.

Batting first, Regency scored 37 for five in six overs with Majid (11 off 8 deliveries, 1x6) top scoring with Qamar (two for nine) the best of the bowlers.

In reply, Ritz-Carlton reached the target scoring 38 for four in 5.4 overs with Rameesh (11 off 11, 1x4) the main scorer with Salman (one for two) the best bowler.

A total of 24 teams have been playing round-robin group matches with the knockout stage underway, with this year’s official charity being the Child Wish Society.
