BCL league: Fire Link win

Manama : Fire Link defeated NDC by 72 runs thanks to a massive innings by Asitha in the latest BCL 25 overs Diamond League matches at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Fire Link scored 204 for seven in 25 overs thanks to a huge knock by opeber Asitha (131 off 70 deliveries, 14x4, 7x6) with good support from Jabbar (46) with Mahesh (four for 24) returning the best bowling
figures.

In reply, NDC were dismissed for 132 with Jimsheer ((40) and Nasser (30) the main scorers and Maqsood (three for six) the pick of the bowlers.In another match, Kaleidoscope Spartan beat Liaison CC by 26 runs after scoring 206 for five in 25 overs with Zeeshan (51), Bilal (48) and Farhan (40) the main scorers and Tauseef (2 for 28) the best of the bowlers AS Liaison CC were restricted to 180 foe eight, with Saeed (53) top scoring with Farhan (three for 32) the best of the bowlers.
