Crown Prince allocates 4,200 housing units
Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday instructed swift allocation of 4,200 housing units to nationals at various locations across the Kingdom.
HRH Crown Prince’s latest directive follows two previous orders, which led to the successful allocation of 6200 homes to nationals in different parts of Bahrain in 2016.
In the new directive, HRH Crown Prince underscored the importance of continuing to work with the same efficiency and pace to meet the housing needs of all Bahrainis.
The directive reflects the Kingdom’s firm commitment to prioritising development projects that directly contribute to the improvement of citizens’ living standards, a key component of His Majesty the King’s comprehensive development programme to provide modern and affordable housing to all.
The housing drive, as per the Government Action Plan 2015-2018, is a testimony to the success of the Kingdom’s housing policies under the leadership of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. The Government Action Plan is centred on serving citizens through substantial development projects that boost infrastructure development and drive efficiency across public services.
The government’s on-going efforts are underpinned by Bahrain’s ‘Economic Vision 2030’, which is built upon the principles of sustainability, fairness, and competitiveness to achieve prosperity for all Bahrainis.
