Ahmed Mansour triumphs
Manama : Bahraini Ahmed Mansour has won first place in week 14 of the UAE Longines Show Jumping League, being held at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club. Supported by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the event composed of 13 rounds and Mansour triumphed in the second round which featured two stages. The first round included 15 participants both male/female nine of whom completed the first stage, while only four finished the second one without committing any faults.
Riding Heavenly Star, Mansour stormed to victory, followed by Hameed Rashid in second and Emy Gen in third. Speaking at the end of the contest, Mansour expressed great joy at his success, underlining the significant benefits he reaped from this participation. “Competing in such international events gives us great motivation. It was a tightly contested competition, and am pleased with my performance,” he said.
