Learn the hottest new dance craze that’s taking the island by storm! Join us as we to step back in time to the 1930’s every Saturday with our danc- ing partners The Shakedown Club for a night of jazz and swing beats! Sit back and enjoy the music or join in and try a new dance style, all skill levels are welcome - beginners dance lessons will be from 7-8pm and the improvers will be from 8-9pm! Practice your new moves with the Shakedown Club up until 11pm. We will also be serving complmentary sparkling for the ladies between 8.30- 9.30pm! There is no entry fee for this event.

Fans of Bahraini music will be treated to the different variations of this tra- ditional art such as Bahri, Hadadi, and Makhloufi. The event series sup- ports Dar AlMuharraq’s mission to enrich the non-material heritage of Muharraq, especially as it lies on the Pearling Path, an open 3 kilometer- long museum due for completion in 2018 when the city will be that year’s Capital of Islamic Culture. Free Admission.

BAHRAIN FARMERS MARKET

Venue : Budaiya Gardens
The fifth edition of the Bahrain Farmers Market is open at the Budaiya Gardens. More than 40 Bahraini farm- ers are participating to provide a vari- ety of local agricultural products. Many leading local restaurants will participate to present local food and drinks with the aim of introducing local food to the visitors of various nationalities. Bahrain Farmers Market targets promoting Bahrain’s agricultural products and highlighting the development taking place in Bahrain’s agricultural sector. It also aims to contribute to improving the Bahraini farmers’ income through a marketing system prepared by the Agriculture and Marine Resources to assist in meeting the farmers’ aspira- tions. Bahrain Farmers Market will be open every Saturday until April 29 from 8 am to 12 noon.
