Massive turnout for GATE admission test

ManamaThe first phase of entrance examination to the Global Academy for Tuition and Entrance Coaching (GATE) program held by the Global Institute for Management Science witnessed a massive participation of students on Friday.

While hundreds of students from classes 8-12 wrote the preliminary GATE admission test at the institute in Mahooz, the parents were given a free detailed introductory session into the teaching methodologies of GATE using 3D presentations.

“GATE is a tailor-made learning aid program designed for the students in class 8 to 12 studying CBSE syllabus. GATE classrooms make effective use of 3D video class modules which gives the students complete understanding of even the most complicated concepts in a simple way. After video presentations, the subject expert clarifies the students queries by way of group discussions,” said Global institute Chairman Dr Girish Chandran.

‘From engaging video lessons to one-on-one mentoring, adaptive learning to visualising, GATE  offers everything. In addition to this, the student can attend classes at home as per his convenience and schedule. Besides teaching curricular subjects GATE also trains communications and leadership skills in the students,” Dr Girish Chandran added.

As part of GATE, students of  Class 11 and 12 students will be given coaching for entrance exams including IIT-JEE/NEET/Olympiads. The GATE entrance exam will be on May 1.  Selected 50 students  shall be eligible for a   year-long GATE program. Three toppers in the admission test from each class will be given free GATE program for a year.  Those absent on Friday’s preliminary admission test, will be given another chance later.
