Energy Minister to patronise conference
Manama : Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza will patronise the International Conference on Sustainable Buildings and Renewable Energies organised by the Kingdom University, in collaboration with the British International Renewable Energy Network on April 15 and 16 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The conference includes workshops and lectures by university professors from Britain, Italy, Romania, Iraq and Malaysia, who will speak about the latest developments and research in the field of renewable energy and the design of sustainable and green buildings along with presenting successful experiences and exchanging scientific and practical data in this area.
The minister stressed the importance of such a conference, which contributes in achieving Bahrain’s national objectives in terms sustainable energy and improving efficiency. He praised the efforts of the Kingdom University and the British International Renewable Energy Network to organize such a scientific conference in Bahrain.
