Manama : The American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham Bahrain) yesterday announced that it will host its Second Annual Golf Tournament at the Royal Golf Club on Friday. It is being held with the support of sponsors - Cadillac, GIB, AECOM, Al Rashediah Stud, Federal Express, NHSC, and Shelf Drilling and will be joined by AmCham Bahrain members and representatives from Bahrain’s and Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Provence business communities who will also be taking part.

The tournament aims to celebrate the American business community in Bahrain and the important bilateral trade relationship between the two countries and feature 100 competitors playing 18 holes of Florida Scramble. They will compete for a range of skill-based prizes including a GIB sponsored “Hole-in-One” competition to win a Cadillac XT5.

Following the Tournament an awards dinner-dance will be held at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence, catered by Wolfgang Puck’s award winning executive chef and team from the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay with Puck himself attending as a special guest.  Ahmed Alqasim’s Jazz Experience will entertain the 200 guests. All attendees will also be able to take part in a draw for door prizes including dinners, golf games and spa services, with the main prizes being two airline tickets to anywhere in the US by Etihad Airways.
