Premier returns from UK
Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa returned to Bahrain yesterday after a private visit to the United Kingdom during which he attended the royal assembly for the graduation of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst cadets in London. Among the graduates was HRH the Premier’s granddaughter Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa who is the first Bahraini girl to graduate from the prestigious military academy.
The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of Queen Elizabeth II of the UK and Northern Ireland. HRH Prime Minister met his British counterpart Theresa May and reviewed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation mainly in countering terrorism which is threatening regional security.
On arrival at Bahrain International Airport, HRH Premier was welcomed by his deputies and senior officials.
