BCL Golden League: Tornado A beat Matrix

Manama : Tornado A defeated Safetech Matrix by 74 runs in the latest matches of the BCL 25 Overs Golden League at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Tornado A scored an impressive 228 for five in 25 overs thanks to fine knocks by Sarath (62), Vinu (59) and Gigin (35) with Arun (two for 22) the best of the bowlers.

In reply, Safetech Matrix were dismissed for 154 with Priyesh (46) the main scorer and Dinesh (four for 29) the pick of the bowlers.

Rock Star in another match easily beat SNB by 10 wickets after the latter were skittled out for just 87 with the only resistance from Fawad (18) as Ahmed (three for 20) and Nisar (two for 10) shared the wickets to fall.

In reply, Rock Star reached the target scoring 90 without loss in 5.5 overs as openers Sadakath (50) and Anil (35) eased the team to victory.
