PM hails Bahraini-Thai relations
Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa yesterday received his Thai counterpart General Prayut Chan-o-cha, along with the accompanying delegation, on his arrival in Bahrain.
The Thai Premier is on an official visit to the Kingdom at the invitation of HRH Premier to hold talks on bilateral relations binding the two friendly countries in all friends.
HRH the Premier reviewed the bilateral relations with his Thai counterpart, stressing the importance of his visit in strengthening cooperation on all levels. He reiterated the mutual keenness of both countries’ leaders on strengthening economic, trade and investment cooperation towards serving common interests.
Thai Premier General Prayut Chan-o-cha expressed delight at visiting the Kingdom, hailing strong bilateral relations which are based on mutual respect. He expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier, Bahraini leadership and people for the warm welcome and genuine hospitality, which reflects deep-rooted ties.
He reiterated his country’s keenness on expanding joint cooperation at all levels, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and stability. The convoy of HRH the Premier and his counterpart then headed to the Thai Premier’s residence. A mission of honour headed by Deputy Premier Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa was set up to accompany the Thai Premier.
