Two establishments shut for violating the law
Manama : The Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry has shut down two companies for violating commercial rules and regulations, it was announced.
The ministry, in a statement, said that the Industrial Areas Development Directorate closed down two companies for a period of two weeks, citing violations.
The directorate found that one of the companies was using the leased space for a different purpose and failed to pay outstanding arrears.
The second establishment was booked for illegal subleasing.
Announcing the actions, the ministry warned that non-compliance with the contractual requirements will attract legal actions.
DT News reported last week that the ministry has cancelled a restaurant’s commercial registration (CR) for providing food and beverages and Shisha without necessary
licenses.
