Parliament greets workers on International Labour Day
Manama : On the occasion of the International Labour Day today, the House of Representatives have expressed support and gratitude to the Bahraini workers serving in various sectors.
House of Representatives Speaker Ahmed Al Mulla praised the Bahraini workers’ development, achievements and their contributions to the national development process.
The Speaker commended the leadership’s support for Bahraini labourers to contribute to promoting Bahrain’s reform and development march.
He affirmed the parliamentary support for Bahraini labourers to assist them to continue the development march.
In a separate statement, independent MP Ghazi Faisal Al Rahma expressed pride in the efforts and the great role of Bahraini labourers.
He stressed on their role in facing the current and future challenges in the fields of politics, economy and social matters.
Al Rahma congratulated the Wise Leadership of the Kingdom and Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan, as well as all unions and workers in various sectors.
“This is an important occasion that we have to work together to consider,” he said.
Al Rahma added that the House of Representatives is committed to supporting this category of the Bahraini society by passing the legislations that serve them, meet their requirements and improve their livelihoods.
