Gala event to promote Taiwan tourism held

Manama : The Taiwan Tourism Bureau held a gala event to promote Taiwan tourism at the Gulf Hotel yesterday. Several stalls providing information about tourism spots in Taiwan  and a cultural extravaganza were organised at the gala.  

“It is a pleasure to meet with so many tour operators from Taiwan and Bahrain and we believe that if both the countries work together it will open up new horizons for both the nations and through events like these we are aiming to strengthen the relations with Bahrain,” said Michael Chen, ambassador of the Trade Mission of Taiwan.

“Forty-six years ago, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau was established and this is our first visit to Bahrain. We believe that Bahrain as a country is a diamond in the Middle East. Bahrain as a nation has a very strong tourism connection and will help us to be a gateway to the rest of the Gulf countries. Also, we as delegates are overwhelmed with the country’s support and response and we are looking forward to more collaborations with the country not only in the tourism but also in various business opportunities,” said Trust H.J. Lin, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Singapore Branch.
