Bapco defeat Pioneers
Manama : Bapco defeated Pioneers 2594-2451 pin falls in the third week of the Bapco Knockout 2017 Tournament organised by the Bahrain Industrial Bowling League at the Fun Land Centre in Manama.
In the first game, Bapco held a slender 831-804 lead, but extended it with a 872-788 lead going into the third and last game winning 891-859.
The victory for Bapco set up a final showdown with Batelco for the title, with Pioneers taking on Electricity and Water Authority for third place.
Top scoring for Bapco was Ali Maroof (254) high game and Yousif Falah (679) series and for Pioneers was its team captain Yousif Al Qusayr (251) game and (646) series.
The final round of knockout matches in this season’s league,2017 will be played on May 16 at 6pm, when Bapco take on Batelco for the title and Electricity and Water Authority take on Pioneers for third place.
