Al Kerlawi champions

Manama : Al Kerlawi FC emerged as champions and clinched the Indian Fraternity Rolling Trophy 2017 of the Matrix Consultancy sponsored Indian Social Forum Sports Club Football Tournament.

Title sponsor Matrix Consultancy managing director, Sayed Rasheed handed over the trophy to the champions.

12 teams on the island participated in the All India Sevens football tournament for the TVS Cargo Winners trophy with 50,000 Indian rupees going to the winners Al Kerlawi and 20,000 rupees to the 2016 champions Salcete United.

Dar Al Shifa was the medical supporter of the tournament  and gave the best service with a full fledge paramedical team.

The winners trophy was handed over by Kurshid Ahmed – TVS International Tour and Travel Co and the cash prize given by Jamal Moideen – Indian Social Forum Central Committee Executive.  The runner-up trophy was given by Javad Pasha- Indian Social Forum Central Committee – President and the cash prize by Ibrahim – Indian Social Forum Central Committee – Secretary. 

Also in attendance were Indian Social Forum Kerala Chapter President, Yusuf Ali, Sports Club Convener, Rafeek Abbas, Sports club president Shabeer Ali, Manager Latheef, Executive members Musthafa, Majeed, Sreejith, Niyas and Nabeel.

Fahad (Al Kerlawi FC) became the best player of tournament sponsored by Bahrain Financing Company.
