Expat missing
Manama : A search is underway to find a missing Indian expatriate Gurmeet Singh who came to Bahrain 10 years ago and worked as an agricultural labourer. He has been missing for the past three years. He has not been in contact with his family since then. He no longer works with his previous sponsors and the job visa is not valid anymore, it is learnt.
“He used to call us and send us money once a while but for the past three years we haven’t heard from him. We have two kids, who constantly ask me questions about him but I don’t know what to answer,” said Nirmal Kaur, his wife.
