Optica launches ZEISS lenses

Manama : Optica, a leading advanced eyewear boutique in the Kingdom has  launched its latest product specially designed for contact lens wearers.

“EnergizeMe spectacle lenses from ZEISS help refresh the wearer’s eyes after they have removed their contact lenses at the end of the day. This refreshing effect is primarily to prevent digital eyestrain, which arises from the intensive use of digital media,” Optica said in a statement released yesterday. 

The EnergizeMe lens design from ZEISS, according to Optica, ensures a wide field of vision and makes switching between contact lenses and glasses a breeze. 

“It is ideal for providing the necessary relaxation after wearing contact lenses through the combination of three different components: ZEISS EnergizeMe lens design,  ZEISS Digital Inside Technology and  ZEISS DuraVision BlueProtect coating,” the statement added. 

Optica also held an Optical Wellness Awareness event in the outlet at Seef Mall. The activity shed light on easy ways to cope with the harmful effects of UV rays, constant exposure to blue light from the digital devices. The participants received tips to reduce the inevitable eyestrain that occurs as we use the many digital devices.
