BIBF, Al Salam Bank hold workshop
Juffair : The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) conducted a Board of Directors Workshop for Al Salam Bank-Bahrain titled “Corporate Governance” for Board representatives.
The training was delivered by Seamus Gillen, founder and Director of Value Alpha Limited, a governance advisory service experienced in boards and directors training.
Commenting, BIBF’s Deputy Director, Dr Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh said, “Continuous training and development is an investment for any organisation that looks forward to enhancing its overall performance”.
In the regard, Yousif Taqi, Director & Group CEO of Al Salam Bank-Bahrain said that establishing a proper corporate governance culture in today’s environment has been demonstrated to be healthy for the bottom line.
