Shaikh Nasser announces candidacy for BOC President
Manama : HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) announced his candidacy for the Presidency of the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Board of Directors for the current period until the year 2020.
“My candidacy for the presidency of BOC comes after the successes achieved by the sports sector in Bahrain through the implementation of BOC’s strategy which has been designed to make a better future for sports in Bahrain. We are on the right track towards reaching BOC’s aspirations of building a sports system that is based on modern scientific work in accordance with the ambitions and hopes of all sports members in Bahrain,” Shaikh Nasser stressed.
