visitUAE roadshow held in Bahrain
Manama : Numerous tourism and travel companies showcased their products and services to promote ‘Seven Emirates One Destination’ at the UAE roadshow held at InterContinental Regency, the other day.
Business representatives from around 18 tourism-related companies were present at the event organised by visitUAE.
Mohammed Khamis Al Muhairi, Undersecretary for Minister of Economy and Consultant for Tourism Affairs, UAE, said, “Although we have organised it in many other countries, this is the first time we are organising the UAE roadshow in Bahrain.”
“The motive of this event is to bring all travel agencies and airlines under one umbrella which is the Ministry of Tourism and to brief them about the latest developments in the tourism industry. We believe this will increase the visitors from Bahrain and from all GCC Countries to UAE and will boost the economy. GCC contributes for the 70 per cent of visitors coming into UAE. We need to keep the industry informed and also the people in the industry should travel abroad and meet the stakeholders and their partners. We will continue to promote in Bahrain. We have a great number of participants here and our expectations have been met”, the Undersecretary told the DT.
