One of the six Judges, Tina Mathew, who was also the 2005 winner of the Indian Club May Queen contents, told DT News that her experience at May Queen 2017 was fantabulous.

She, however, said, “Judging was much tougher than participating.”

The contests were followed by dance performances in Bollywood, Western and Hip-pop by local artists.

Salsa by Jaff and Alex was one of the notable performances.

“I’ve been in a lot of events, but it’s my first time here. I hope they call me again. I did give my best. I was informed a little late or else I could have involved more acrobatics,” said Jaff Salsa.

Commenting on the event, Indian Club President, Cassius Pereira said, “The May Queen 2017 has been fantastic. We appreciate the support we are getting from the members and guests alike.”
