Manama : Today will be the first day of Ramadan in Bahrain, the moon-sighting committee convened at the Supreme Islamic Affairs Council (SIAC)’s headquarters has confirmed. 

The panel based its announcement on the Saudi statement which confirmed the advent of Ramadan as no testimonies were reported in Bahrain.
