Bahrain launches hepatitis C-free country campaign
Manama : The Supreme Council for Health has launched Bahrain hepatitis C-free country campaign to eradicate the disease in the Kingdom.
The campaign is launched in cooperation with Egyptian Eva Pharma company which will supply Bahrain with the necessary medicines at economy prices.
Chairman of the National Committee for the Unified Purchase of Drugs, Major-General, Professor Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa has signed an agreement with the National Committee for the Unified Purchase of Drugs to this end, following a meeting with the Eva Pharma for supplying liver disease medicines especially for Hepatitis C.
