Sustainable policies must for development: Crown Prince

ManamaHis Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening visited the Majlis of Ahmed Mansoor Al Aali, the Majlis of the sons of Haji Hassan Al Aali, and the Majlis of Khaled Al Moayed.

During the Majlis visits, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and the efforts of its citizens, continues to embrace progress and development across the economy and society.

The First Deputy Prime Minister said that the growth of the non-oil sector is a positive indicator of the Kingdom’s economic achievements, reinforcing the importance of continuing to adopt sustainable financial policies that serve Bahrain’s development.

HRH Prince Salman underscored the importance of continuing to strengthen the partnership between the public and private sectors, noting the pivotal role the private sector plays in Bahrain’s economic development.

His Royal Highness also emphasised the importance of continuing to provide the private sector with a positive environment to conduct commercial and investment activities, for example, through new urban planning procedures.

HRH the Crown Prince highlighted that Bahrain’s openness to different cultures has ensured that respect for diversity is a key foundation of Bahrain’s national identity

The First Deputy Prime Minister added that Bahrain’s Majlises reflect the country’s deep-rooted customs and traditions, which have always encouraged strong social bonds in Bahraini society.

HRH Prince Salman extended his greetings on the holy month of Ramadan, and expressed his pleasure in visiting Ramadan Majlises.

HRH the Crown Prince emphasised the important role of Ramadan Majlises in maintaining the strong bonds that exist between the people of Bahrain, and recognised the continued support of Bahrain’s business families for the country’s ongoing sustainable development efforts.

The Majlis’ hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for the Crown Prince’s visit, and highlighted His Royal Highness’ commitment to advancing long-term diversification efforts and delivering growth across Bahrain’s key sectors.
