Role of security forces in fighting terror lauded

Manama : Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri has paid tribute to the security forces for their efforts to extend security and stability throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He also praised them for their responsibility in preserving citizens’ lives, securing their properties and effectively countering terrorism.

Al Doseri said the public security forces have demonstrated the highest standards of professionalism and self-restraint while arresting 286 convicted terrorists and fugitives, some of whom were hiding in Duraz village in the house of Issa Qasim, the man who was sentenced to prison for money laundering and illegal fundraising.

“The forces managed to break up the outlaws’ illegal gatherings, which have, over the past months, annoyed the people, put their interests at stake and jeopardized their security and safety as well as the safety and privacy of their children.

The Assistant Foreign Minister added that the law enforcement men started reinforcing security after all peaceful means have been tried and after people of the area got fed up of the increasing chaos, closure of roads and obstruction of traffic movement with barriers and blazes.
