NBB donates BD10,000 to Bahrain Red Crescent Society
Manama : National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) donated BD10,000 to the Bahrain Red Crescent Society at a ceremony held at the bank’s headquarters. Abdulaziz Al Ahmed, the bank’s General Manager – Domestic Banking Group - received Red Crescent Society President Mubarak Al Hadi and presented him with a cheque for BD10,000 as part of the Bank’s donations and contributions programme for the year 2017. The ceremony was attended by Gazi Zaber, Treasurer of the Society and Nasser Mohammed Nasser, NBB Board Secretary.
Mubarak Al Hadi, expressed his appreciation and gratitude, on behalf of the Society, to the Chairman and Members of the Board of Directors of the NBB and to Jean Christophe Durrand, the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer.
He thanked NBB for its contributions, which the bank makes regularly to social welfare, reflecting the bank’s commitment to the Kingdom’s social and charitable institutions and societies. He said these contributions help the Society to shoulder its responsibility and duty towards the underprivileged sections of the Bahraini society.
