Pakistan Club to host the first Cricket Academy
Manama : The Pakistan Club will host the first Cricket Academy as part of the Club’s efforts to revive the cricket game by providing training and technical support to the local talent of this game.
Mohamed Sajid Shaikh recently elected Vice President of the CBA Board made this announcement in the presence of Salim Elyas, CBA Chairman and Mahmood Rafique the Chairman Pakistan Club and hundreds of cricket fans at the opening of the Ramadan Tennis Ball 7-A Side Cup 2017 at the Pakistan Club.
“The efforts to preserve the cricket as a game at the grass-root level, the CBA is planning to open the first cricket academy at the Pakistan Club. This will help to polish the talent and sustain the cricket as a sporting game which had been one of the key areas of sports of the Pakistan Club till early 2000,” Sajid said.
