Sustainable development to continue: Prince Salman
Manama : Bahrain will continue its investment in achieving sustainable development and equal opportunities for all, affirmed His Royal Highness, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday.
The Crown Prince was visiting the Majlises of Al Musallam family, Al Mahmood family and Minister for Shura Council and House of Representatives Affairs, Ghanim Al Buainain. Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa accompanied Prince Salman during the visits.
HRH the Crown Prince highlighted that Bahrain’s development programme, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is built upon the principles of the National Action Charter which had been endorsed by the people of Bahrain.
Highlighting the role of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 in accelerating non-oil sector growth, the Crown Prince stressed that the programme emphasises the principles of sustainability, competitiveness and fairness to facilitate improved delivery of services and increase access to opportunities for all citizens.
“The Kingdom’s far-reaching development programme has consistently safeguarded citizens’ interests through the delivery of an integrated and inclusive social security framework,” said Prince Salman.
The Crown Prince also stressed the importance of continuing sustainable fiscal policies, including those that facilitate investment into the private sector, as well as improving processes associated with establishing a business in the Kingdom.
The Majlis’ hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for the visit and highlighted the Crown Prince’s commitment to advancing the Kingdom’s development and delivering opportunities for the people of Bahrain.
